"Hi, Katherine!

Here's a photo of my finished sweater! It fits just right, and I'm very happy with the results. I look forward to knitting more of your patterns.

I've worn my lush and lacy cardigan a bunch of times already, and I just love the pattern. I might make it again (in a non-furry yarn), but first, the cables and lace kimono!" -- Jennifer F.

"Dear Katherine,

Attached are some photos of myself wearing the sweater knitted from your pattern, which I loved doing! It was great fun, in part because your instructions were extremely detailed & clear all the way. I knitted it in Merinos Otto 'Shadow' an extrafine merino.

Oddly, I needed only about 800 yards, although I got the gauge you suggested. Also - I ended up modifying the neckline in a couple of ways; it felt too loose & floppy knitted in the same needle size as the body of the sweater, & the decreases at the front looked too angled.......so I did it over in 2 needle sizes down, twice as many rows, with decreases on alternate rows rather than on every row. It came out fitting perfectly.

I would note that I have felt like a walking advertisement for your website. I have had at least half a dozen women ask me how to get this pattern; I also had one offer to buy my sweater on the spot (the answer was no, but thanks.....).

I look forward to knitting more of your designs."

"Katherine,

Just finished your fabulous lace inset cardigan, and LOVE it! I knit it up in Knit Picks 'Panache' (40% Baby Alpaca, 20% Cashmere, 20% Silk, 20% Merino) in Cranberry, and it's a DREAM.

I think I'll wear it every day for the next little bit... :)

I absololutely love the lace pattern, and the sweater was very quick to knit up! Thanks so much for the wonderful pattern." -- Christina D. from Alberta, CN

"Dear Katherine,

As you requested in your last e-mail, I am attaching a picture of myself wearing the "Flutter-Sleeve Top" you designed. I used approximately six skeins of Dale of Norway Svale #4612 for a size small. Your directions were easy and a pleasure to follow.

Thanks for your wonderful "Fabulous & Flirty Crochet" book. I plan to make many more of your designs.

-- Susie
"I received Fabulous and Flirty Crochet for my birthday, and I love it! Here is a photo of my completed version of the Shawl-Collared Wrap Cardigan. I used Lion Brand Pound of Love in color no. denim 110. It took me a little over one (16 oz) skein. It’s an acrylic yarn instead of the mohair blend recommended, but I’m really happy with the way it turned out. Also, I left out the pocket (just didn’t want one).

This was my first sizeable crochet project, and the very first project I’ve ever managed to seam nicely. Thanks very much for the instructions on sewing pieces together at the beginning of the book! It really makes the difference between “Uh, gee, did you make that yourself?” and “Wow, you made that yourself?” Hahaha.

Love the book, love the website, and love the email updates."

-- Amethyst

"Here are two blankets done in Bernat's Softee Chunky, Old Antique Rose and Natural colors for a friend's twins-to-be! They turned out a bit larger than your pattern calls for, but that's fine by me! The yarn is acrylic, which means it's machine washable and dryable... a plus with twins!!

Thanks for the great pattern(s)!!"

"Here is your cabled baby blanket pattern in different colors...pretty, isn't it? Thanks for the great pattern." -- Connie
