Product Description

Chunky meets feminine with a boho touch in this hat! Lots of texture shows through with an interesting all-over lace stitch that meanders vertically from the Garter st border.

One skein of vibrantly colored Montera and big needles make for a quick knit. This hat is knit from the bottom up in the round for the seamlessness that we all love.

An easy-to-wear hat that delivers a solid punch of style to any outfit. You can even choose from a less slouchy version or the slouchier version shown here as both are included in the pattern.

  1. Cute hat!

Posted by Anne on 9th Jan 2014

I really like this pattern and I hope I won't be out of place as grandma wearing this hat. I bought some beautiful red yarn from a place where they raise sheep and hand make specialty yarns;hopefully enough for this pattern since the yarn was really expensive.

  2. Great slouchy hat for teens

Posted by Unknown on 4th Jan 2014

Teenage granddaughter loved the hat so much, I made her another one. First one took about 3.5 hours - including knitting several swatches to get guage.

  3. just what I was looking for

this is almost exactly what my daughter-in-law
wanted it was an excellent find

  4. which color yarn to use first....hum.....

Posted by Monica on 2nd Jan 2014

I love this slouchy hat so much. I have some gorgeous 100% Cascade wool that I think I will use first. Then perhaps a shades of blue & green variegated that I have been saving for some project. Thanks so much for your wonderful patterns.

  5. beautiful hat for my granddaughter

Posted by Kathleen on 1st Jan 2014

I haven'tmade it yet but the pattern seems easy to read and follow

  6. Liking it!

Posted by Bonnie on 15th Dec 2013

I looked long and hard for a very slouchy hat and found one in this pattern. I'm half finished, am finding the instructions clear and easy to use, and am very pleased so far with the pattern. The only thing that would have pleased me more would have been instructions with sizing options. I've made a stab at altering the instructions myself and hope I'll have a hat that fits.

  7. shape

Posted by Barbara Fortune on 2nd Dec 2013

Love the shape and easy to follow pattern.

  8. Great project for my left over Noro!

Posted by Margaret on 29th Nov 2013

I had some left over Noro Taiyo from a project and went on the hunt for something small to make. found this pattern and thought it would be great for my grandaughter for Christmas. Well, it was perfect! Easy to follow, fast to knit up and blocked perfectly. I should have gone down another size in needles as it is quite large in diameter.... 12". But my grandaughter has a lot of hair, so I figure she will love it!

  9. Love the hat!

Posted by Unknown on 26th Nov 2013

This pattern was not a difficult as I thought it would be. It is a cute hat that my granddaughter loves.

  10. Exactly what I needed

Posted by Denise on 23rd Nov 2013

I needed a slouchy hat for a young lady we know who wouldn't be caught dead in something unfashionable no matter how cold she got. When I found this pattern, I was delighted. It was pretty simple to knit, and the size was perfect when I changed to US 10 needles. I am very happy with this pattern.
