Product Description

This poncho will steal your heart when worn by the special young miss in your life. AND knit the doll-sized version as a bonus she'll love! (Fits American Girl dolls and other dolls of similar size.)

Tons of sweet details embellish a simple shape and maximize the cute factor!

The front and back feature a pretty cabled heart center panel with smaller cables on either side. Side slits allow for easy arm movement.

Front patch pockets are added to store little treasures. And a chain stitch tie with fluffy pom poms adds a fun, whimsical touch at the neck.

Plus, this cuddly warm poncho is knit up in one piece (except for the pockets) from the bottom up. For gorgeous color impact, knit it in the kettle-dyed Malabrigo Worsted yarn as shown – you'll also love the feel of this yarn as you knit.

Doll poncho features the same cute heart cable and mini pom poms! Doll poncho included in this pattern OR can be purchased separately.

(Poncho shown in second photo with #183 One-Ball Chunky Cabled Hat - sold separately)

This looks like a terrific pattern for me to knit for next year for my 6 year old granddaughter. I am looking forward to trying it.

  2. Pretty in Purple

This is just the latest pattern purchase for me. As ever, the instructions are so meticulously written that it's impossible not to make a perfect garment. I haven't knitted this yet, but I know from experience that it will be another beautifully completed project. This is the first time I am using the recommended yarn for one of . I love the color in the photo, and I really needed an excuse to try Malabrigio.

  3. Finding Success

Posted by Unknown on 11th Feb 2014

I've never rated anything before, so it is meaningless for me. I am excited however, the directions are clear and I am able to follow them - I do read directions several times over - I dislike ripping out and starting over! Ionly hope I can finish this in time for spring - I have two to knit - size 2 and 6 - and two more for dollies!
