Product Description

Show lots of heart with this big-hearted head warmer. It knits up quickly – I clocked it at 1 hour, 5 minutes (of course, I've been knitting for decades!)

The bold, shaped heart motif can be worked surprisingly easily with a special technique (explained in pattern) that allows you to work an Intarsia design back and forth while keeping the hat worked in the round! For real!

Hat starts from the bottom up in the round, then the Heart motif is worked back and forth, and then the cap is shaped with easy decreases. No seaming is needed, even for the Heart motif rows.

Knit up in a bulky yarn, this hat will warm both the wearer's head and heart.

One hat uses less than one skein of the Lamb's Pride Bulky yarn, with some scrap yarn for the Heart OR use 2 contrasting skeins and knit up the matched pair of hats, as shown here.

I knit the deep charcoal one for my DH, then knit a hat in the reverse colors for me. Adorbs! Would be fabulous in your favorite team or school colors as well.

Fave/Queue this pattern on Ravelry.
