Product Description

A dose of color can spice up many an outfit. This mustard short-sleeve cardigan is a perfect example.

It begins with a yoke worked side to side with clever short rows to form a gracefully curved neckline. Stitches are then picked up along the bottom edge to work the body from the top-down. Small cable panels are added to accent the front lines. A group of small cables are worked down the center back, then gathered and crossed to narrow at the waist for a flattering effect.

Wide ribbed front bands and short ribbed armhole bands are then added for the finishing touch.

The result? A great accent piece that will spice up any ensemble while keeping things ultra feminine and chic.

  1. Extra Spicy Mustard

This is a very lovely and feminine pattern. I've enjoyed knitting it. The only thing that I would change about it is the length. It knits way shorter than it looks in the photo (particularly for the larger sizes), so I added a few rows to make it longer. I love the color! I like to add a bright pop of color in my wardrobe every now and then.

I have successfully downloaded the pattern and have reviewed the directions. At this point, I have yet to make it. This is a project for the near future.
I have NEVER been disappointed in any of the patterns that I have purchased.
I look forward to adding to my knitting library collection with patterns from Sweater Babe.

I adore all your patterns as they are beautiful and a joy to do. The ladies sweaters, cardigans, etc are always so feminine. I do not care for the color that it calls for, but any color will make this sweater pop. I always come to look and dream about my next project...until next time...here's needles to you!!

This pattern is absolutely stunning. Very modern, very romantic, and so very feminine.
The colour does not suit me, but it definitely does not take away any glamour from the overall style.
I bought this pattern because I fell in love with it instantly. Thank you so very much to the competent designer.

Your designs are always so feminine and pretty, just my style......I love them. This one is exceptional........the only problem I have with it is the color, and that can be changed easily. Thank you for your creativity and beautiful designs.
