#100 Little Lace Vest PDF Knitting Pattern

Here's a sweet vest to top off an outfit. It's knit in a worsted weight yarn (feel free to substitute a great worsted weight cotton or other blend!) from the bottom up in one piece (just like the super popular Talia vest that I first published through Knitty.com.). That means the only seaming is at the shoulders.

The overlapping leaves lace panels add great interest to the front and give the bottom of the vest a subtly waved finish. Garter stitch button bands are knit in. Ribbed armhole bands and neckband are picked up and knit.

The deep u-shaped neckline is shaped to flatter and allows a pretty blouse or shirt to still show it's stuff.

PLUS, only 2 skeins are needed for the smallest size!

Finished Bust Measurement:
(when vest is buttoned):
33 ½ (37 ½, 41 ½, 45 ½, 49 ½, 53 ½)" [85 (95, 105.5, 115.5, 125.5, 136) cm]
TO FIT SIZES:
XS (S, M, L, 1X, 2X) or Bust Sizes 30-32 (34-36, 38-40, 42-44, 46-48, 50-52)" [76-81.5 (86.5-91.5, 96.5-101.5, 106.5-112, 117-122, 127-132) cm] (intended ease is approximately 1 ½ to 3")

Skill Level:
intermediate knitting project

Yarn Used:
Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted (85% Wool/15% Mohair); 4 oz/113 g [190 yds/173 m] per skein): 2 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins in Brown Heather #M-02.

Gauge(s):
Pattern Gauge: 16 sts = 4" [10 cm] and 22 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Stockinette St.
Yarn Label Gauge and Information:
A worsted weight yarn with a gauge of 4.5 sts = 1" on US size 8 needles.

380 (570, 570, 570, 760, 760) yds [346 (519, 519, 519, 692, 692) m].
