This black lace camisole with its lovely detailing is sure to be in heavy rotation as soon as you finish knitting it!

The front lace panel is an intriguing design composed of two leaf lace panels, mirroring each other. Sharp directional decreases paired with double eyelets shift each leaf panel left and right as they travel up to the neckline. The combined effect creates unique, diamond-shaped motifs in the center.

This camisole is knit in the round from the bottom up with shaping done decoratively at either side of the lace panel and on the back. At the underarm, the front is finished separately with armhole shaping and a squared off neckline, while the back is finished with a ribbed, straight edge.

Thin ribbed straps are extended from the top front and sewn to the back with the straps crossed (crossing is optional).

The camisole as shown is knit to a cropped length, in a fabulous cotton merino blend, to be worn with high-waisted bottoms. Tips for lengthening the camisole are noted in the pattern.
