Craftcation 2025:
presenting two workshops,
taking jewelry classes, and more!!
A recap of 2025's conference.

 At Craftcation 2025, held April 23-27, 2025, I taught two workshops:
Sew a Jewelry Dumpling Bag & Crochet Your Own Cactus Pincushion

My 3rd CRAFTCATION was an incredible experience!
I had jam-packed days of meeting new crafters and reconnecting with ones I've met before,
taking great craft and business workshops, and teaching my two workshops!

 This time, I mostly took jewelry classes. The workshops I took were Seed Bead Wire-Wrapped Hoop Earrings, Botanical Bundle Dyeing, Stamp Carving and Printing, Wire Delicate Bow Necklace, Sterling Silver Stacking Rings, Social Media Analytics, Badass Earrings with UV Resin, Working with Brands, and Sewing a Chubby Tote. All of these classes were fabulous and I loved the finished items! Photo highlights below.

Both of my workshops were great!
The Jewelry Dumpling Sewing class went very well! Everyone finished within the 2-hour time slot! I did a lot of prep, such as precutting the pattern templates, bringing samples of the project at various stages of completion, and providing a detailed, step-by-step handout with lots of photos - all of which paid off so well!  The Crochet Cactus Pincushion workshop also went well, though with crochet it can be a challenge finishing a project within a 2-hour timeframe. I still taught all my tips and tricks for crocheting the cactuii and made sure the students learned and understood how to complete the cactus, including providing a very detailed handout with lots of photos and utilizing the overhead projector to show the hands on details as much as possible.

All-in-all, just so amazing to be part of this conference and community - with such immensely talented and creative souls! Everytime I go, I meet lovely, super crafty people! And everyone is always so happily enjoying their time there, being fully immersed in the highly creative and supportive learning envionment that is Craftcation.

I'll for sure be there again in 2026 - which is planned for April 8-12, 2026. Stay tuned for details on Craftcation 2026 when they become available!

Botanical Bundle Dyeing workshop!	My seed bead wire wrapped earrings and finished bow necklace! Using a bead spinner and hammering metal is SO MUCH FUN!
My hand-knit and hand-crocheted items in the Pop-Up Shop!!	Stamp carving and printing a tea towel. I've never carved a stamp before!!
My first time making jewelry with UV resin. Very fun!	The Wanderings rooms - where crafters decorate their themed rooms in a contest - were incredibly creative and well done!
With Botanical Bundle Dyeing the results can be so creatively varied!	A fabulous tote bag class with cool fabric and inside zipper pocket!
