#108 Girl's Ruffled Top-Down Cardigan PDF Knitting
Pattern
Cute little
girls deserve cute little sweaters. This top-down
cardigan is a fun-loving cardigan that is a joy
to make and give!
It features a delicate collar, knit-in button bands,
and girly ruffled edges, all worked in a simple
moss stitch. A moss stitch border also accentuates
the bodice. Pretty heart-shaped lace panels decorate
the fronts, along with 2 knit-in pockets.
Because it's top-down, you can absolutely play with
the length of the sleeves and the body! Would look
great with short sleeves, without the ruffled sleeve
edgings (if you prefer), or longer overall. This
sample was made for my 4-year old, but also looks
great on her big 6-year old sister (more of a ¾-sleeve
length style on her). How's that for a kid's knit
that will be wearable for years!
Easy care, washable wool from Knit Picks in a sunny
color (sorry - this particular color got discontinued,
but there are many more shades to choose from!).
PLUS, this pattern includes sizes from 2 through
16!
