This hat is knit seamlessly from the bottom up in Malabrigo Chunky, a yarn famous for its fabulous softness, intense colors, and lovely results. Size 11 needles keep this project fast!

Cable twists are alternated with simple lace to create lots of visual interest. Staggered panels further create the textured results. While there is a lace stitch pattern, the result is fancy texture - so this is definitely a unisex hat!

Generous height allow this hat to be worn further back on the head for a slight slouch or pulled over the ears more coverage and warmth.

Finished Knit Measurements: Approx 21 ½" [55 cm] unstretched at ribbed edge; body of hat (above ribbed edge) is approx 28" [71 cm] around. 10" [25.5 cm] total height.
