#85 Wavy Textured Hooded Vest PDF Knitting Pattern
A
cozy vest is the perfect layering piece when a bulky
jacket or sweater is just too much. This one features
an intricate looking textured stitch that resembles
a complicated cable panel, but is done entirely without
cable needles. Shaping throughout is done within the
reverse stockinette stitch background panels.
The vest is also knit from the bottom up in one
piece for minimal seaming. Pockets are knit in,
as are the slight cap sleeves. The hood is picked
up separately. Ribbed button bands and 2 gorgeous
toggle buttons finish the elegantly casual look.
The yarn used is Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Bulky,
which comes in 79 gorgeous colors (at last count!).
