Product Description

Time to update your everyday V-neck cardigan with this cabled beauty! Knit it in a worsted-weight alpaca blend, as shown, for the softness and drape you'll want to reach for every time. The yarn is also lovely to knit!

The back and fronts are knit from the bottom up starting with a neat ribbed border. The ribbing transitions into the easy-to-work cable panels that travel all the way up to the shoulders, which are shaped with short rows. A bit of ribbing at each end adds a sporty touch.

Shoulders are joined using a three-needle bind off. Then, the sleeves are picked up and knit down to the cuffs in Stockinette stitch and finished with the same ribbed edge as the body.

The front ribbed buttonbands are picked up and knit.

The sides are seamed, leaving a split hem. Nice, deep pockets are knit in.

  1. Beautiful Yet Simple Design

Posted by Deb Austin on 1st Mar 2021

This beautiful sweater caught my eye right away. I love the cables, the length and the yarn! Being someone who only knits when the weather is cold I didn’t know if I was skilled enough to create it. The instructions are so well written that it didn’t take long before I was knitting away! I’m almost finished with the back piece of the pattern and I have to say it’s an enjoyable pattern to knit and the yarn is scrumptious to work with! I highly recommend!!
