My 4th CRAFTCATION was SO MUCH fun!
Lots of familiar faces and lots of laughs as I taught a few workshops, took a handful of workshops, and hung out with crafters in lovely Ventura!
Every year there is a variety of classes. Some are repeats from previous years, but there is always more to choose from. I did a few sewing classes, one jewelry class, tried out stained glass making, and learned to felt on a sweater! And reconnecting with the friends I've made from previous years is always wonderful. Everyone so looks forward to attending CRAFTCATION year after year. It's a wonderful and welcoming community.
My Tatting and Crochet workshops were great!
As my 3rd year teaching, I really can say that I LOVE it. The students are always eager to learn and try new things and I love the energy of teaching them! They are also great helping each other out, which is always a wonderful thing.
The Crochet an Adorable Fruit Charm went very well! The magic ring can be tricky to learn, so I did a video (coming soon!) focusing on just the magic ring. You can see it here. The fruit charms were adorable!
The Learn Tatting and Make Earrings workshops (2 sessions) were very fun classes to teach too! Tatting is a very old lace making technique using a shuttle and pretty fine crochet thread. There are definitely tricky parts to learning it, so we focused on those. Lots of ah-ha moments! I've also made videos for tatting if you're interested!
So much creativity and joy all under one roof. Crafty people are definitely colorful and fun-loving people!
Join me in 2027 and experience what it's all about!
It's already scheduled for March 31 - April 4, 2027. I'll post sign up details HERE when they become available!
