Product Description

This smart little cardigan is sure to top your must-knit list! It features beautifully textured cable and lace front bands, eyelet detailing at the raglan seams, and soft kimono sleeves. It's all these details that modernize this versatile and lightweight cardigan and make it an easy addition to your project list and closet.

It's knit from the top-down, minimizing the finishing steps. The cardigan's one-piece construction begins at the back collar, where you knit from the center out in the cable and lace pattern. Stitches are then picked up along the bottom edge of the collar to begin the top-down portion. The ends of the collar become the ends of each row as you work down towards the bottom hem.

At the low underarm, the sleeves are put on hold as the body is continued down to the hem. Sleeves are then knit down in the round (or in rows, if you prefer), ending with a generous Moss stitch cuff.

The structured, yet soft shape allows this cardigan to transition easily between your dressy and casual outfits. Knit it in a statement making color, as shown, or choose another lovely shade in fingering-weight yarn.
