Product Description

Cowls are an easy and stylish alternative to scarves this season!

This one features a wonderfully easy double cable pattern to add lots of textural interest.

It knits up quickly in the round (no seams!) and can be worn like a folded-over turtleneck or scrunched down for a cool, slouchy look.

A great quick gift knit using less than 3 hanks of Cadena yarn from Knit Picks!

The cable pattern really is easy, despite how it looks. . . great for the knitter wanting to try out cables for the first time!

  1. Lovely cowl

Posted by Elly on 16th Jan 2021

I wear this every day! So warm. I made it from 90% alpaca 10% wool.

I wasn;t carefule with gauge so it was too loose around my neck. Ripped the whole thing out and made on smaller needles and LOVE it!

  2. Nice cables

Posted by Unknown on 18th Sep 2015

Fun project that didn't take too long but looks great.

  3. Beautiful and Warm

Posted by TLC on 12th Feb 2015

I have always loved cables and this one did not fail to impress. I found it knit up easily and I may even tackle making it into an infinity scarf as the pattern allows for this quite easily. I knit it for my daughter and she couldn't wait to wear it, her first compliment that it was really warm and looked super nice.

  4. Great gift

Posted by Caroljean Thosath on 22nd Jan 2015

This was easy to knit and made a great gift.

  5. fun to knit

Posted by Martha Schwartz on 1st Jan 2015

I like the look of cable and this is so easy since it is small and not like a whole sweater.

  6. Lovely cosy cowl

Posted by Karin on 30th Dec 2014

Pattern was easy to follow, although I realized it made it much easier if I used a row counter and pencil to mark off where I was! I knitted this as a gift for my sister-in-law and she thought it was lovely :)

  7. Absolutely Gorgeous!

Posted by Linda Burns on 23rd Dec 2014

This is a fabulous cowl - I'm nearly done and whilst it is a challenge it is turning out just beautifully! I will wear this often.

  8. warm quick project

  9. Gorgeous cowl

Posted by NVG on 22nd Dec 2014

This cowl works up fast and is super easy. Absolutely the perfect project for trying cables for the first time. Download was very fast and easy. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. One of my favorites and I highly recommend it.

  10. It is a wonderful read

Posted by Jennifer Wallace on 22nd Dec 2014

I have not knitted it yet , but I did read the pattern. I enjoy your patterns because they are easy to understand. As soon as I get some time. I am going to knit this up, it looks like I can knit to fairly quickly. Thank you for this great pattern.
