  1. Fun and quick scarf

Posted by Lizz on 28th Jan 2014

This scarf was fun to knit over a weekend with some leftover bulky yarn I had on hand. I liked it so much that it is be next year's holiday gift. This is a well-written pattern which needs reading through in advance, and note that the 3 border stitches are not in the swatch (leaf pattern) but are included in count later on. It took a few tries to figure that out. Otherwise easy to follow for intermediate (plus) knitters. Knits up quickly and you can see and enjoy the pattern after about 15 rows.

  2. Looks pretty, but. . .

it was more difficult than I had anticipated.

Loved doing this pattern; found it easy to follow and something I would love to use to make gifts. Yarn used was perfect for the scarf I made and it was easy to block.

  4. Quick, easy and a beautiful gift!

Posted by Lezlee on 5th Dec 2012

A friend called on a Monday excited to tell me she just purchased my Christmas gift for our lunch that Wednesday! As I hadn't even planned on getting her a gift, I was scrambling trying to come up with something. Then I remembered this scarf and knew it was perfect. I used a Rowan bulky purchased at my LYS. As with all the patterns from SWEATER BABE, the directions were EASY to follow and I LOVED the design! I complimented this scarf with a brooch I found at an antique store. Placed it on the pass-through loop. My girlfriend loved it!
