#119 Eyelets and Lace Curved Hem Cardigan PDF
Knitting Pattern
(a top-down design!)
Here's a wonderfully
feminine cardigan featuring a unique curved front
hem, eyelet detailing, and pretty belled, lace sleeves.
It's also a top-down design, so it's seamless and
the sleeves are easily altered!
The sample as shown features 3/4 length sleeves
that are belled with a lovely lacy leaf design.
The bottom hem is curved to be longer in back and
gracefully curved up in front. The wide lace border
is then picked up and knit from the top down. Then,
the button bands are picked up and knit. And the
cardigan is finished off with leaf design horn buttons
that perfectly compliment the lace design.
This is a beautiful cardigan that can be the centerpiece
of your outfit or the perfect accompaniment to a
pretty dress.
Also looks GREAT as a short-sleeved vest/cardigan!
By binding off the sleeves just before the eyelet
lace, you get an easy, rolled-edge, short-sleeved
version (see photo at bottom of this page; instructions
included in this pattern). This is a great option
if you prefer a less dramatic sleeve or if you ran
out of your stash yarn.
