It's worked from end to end in a fairly simple, but complicated-looking, all-over cable stitch with some lace elements. Then, the cast on and bound off edges are sewed together to create the cowl shape. A naturally wavy edge is created at the top and bottom edges by the cable stitch pattern. The overall effect is a highly textured look done in a bulky yarn for maximum effect.

The merino wool blend gives the cowl great softness worn against the skin, plus a luxe look with just enough stitch definition and slight halo to make this look like an expensive designer purchase!
