Product Description

Here's a sweet vest to top off an outfit. It's knit in a worsted weight yarn (feel free to substitute a great worsted weight cotton or other blend!) from the bottom up in one piece (just like the super popular Talia vest that I first published through Knitty.com.). That means the only seaming is at the shoulders.

The overlapping leaves lace panels add great interest to the front and give the bottom of the vest a subtly waved finish. Garter stitch button bands are knit in. Ribbed armhole bands and neckband are picked up and knit.

The deep u-shaped neckline is shaped to flatter and allows a pretty blouse or shirt to still show it's stuff.

PLUS, only 2 skeins are needed for the smallest size!

Fave/Queue this pattern on Ravelry.

  1. INCREDIBLE

Posted by Kathryn on 13th Aug 2017

I love Sweater Babe's patterns. There is NOTHING more frustrating to me than a pattern that doesn't make sense - but SweaterBabe's are intuitive and clear and concise. I knit this adorable vest last week - and it's cute as can be. Just enough challenge to make it interesting - but so clear, I didn't have to doubt the written instructions! I can't wait to knit it again in another yarn!

  2. Very well written pattern

This is a delightful pattern to knit with a touch of challenge. I am still knitting and very anxious to be done to see the final outcome.

  3. Beautiful, easy and fun.

I have really enjoyed knitting this pattern. Not only is it knit in one piece but the pattern is beautiful and fun to knit. I am knitting the pattern in Swan Island yarn worsted weight which has worked out well.

  4. Going good

The style is great, the fit seems like it will be excellent (I am about half done), and the directions are accurate, easy to follow, and efficiently laid out.

  5. Adorable design. Well written pattern.

I haven't had a chance to start yet but I can't wait. I love this design. I read the entire patterns and they seem very well written. I love all the design patterns sold at Sweaterbabe.com. I also want to point out how nice Katherine was. After I placed an order, somehow I didn't get the patterns right away. Katherine immediately responded and she was very helpful.
